Just as described-sometimes a new book will show some shelf wear from storage as may be seen in a retail bookstore-and some books may have remainder marks. We never, knowingly, offer a book as New if it is damaged in some way |
| Like New or Excellent |
Book has been read and looks like new-Slight, if any, spine creases and no edgewear. Hard cover books with dust jackets are in pristine condition. |
| Very Good |
Very few Spine creases, slight shelf wear. No torn or stained pages-binding tight. Cover is not damaged. |
| Good Plus |
Minimal spine creases,cover may have very slight damage. Edgewear may be the only reason this book is not rated as Very Good. |
| Good |
Spine creases, some shelf wear and edge wear, all pages and cover are intact. The book will be an obviously used book. Some good condition books may have age-toned pages, but all pages will be intact and binding will be tight. |
| Fair |
We do not sell fair rated books. Read many times, severe spine curve and shelf wear. Readable only, likely to have stained and/or torn pages. Edgewear alone on a fair book makes it unpleasant to deal with. |
